Book Review - Lady Renegades By Rachel Hawkins

Lady Renegades by Rachel Hawkins
(Third book to Rebel Belle)

Publisher: G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers

Release Date: 05 April 2016

Pages: 272

Summary: Harper Price starts coming to terms with her role as David Stark's Paladin and girlfriend when her world turns weird all over again. Overwhelmed by his Oracle powers, David runs from Pine Grove and starts turning teenage girls into Paladins who seem to think that Harper is the enemy and will do anything to track her down. Usually, Harper would be able to fight off any Paladin who comes her way, but her powers have been deteriorating since David left town, which means her life is in danger again. Now, it's a desperate race for Harper to find and rescue David before she goes from superhero to an ordinary teenager forever.

My Thoughts: I thought Lady Renegades was much better than Miss Mayhem. By the end of book two I wasn't sure where this one was going to go but it really was a good conclusion to the series. The beginning chapter pulled me in right from the start and it held my attention right through. Some of the middle of the book was just a trip with not much action but it was written really well. Again, Harper was so funny and I love that you could hear her voice coming out through the writing. Also, the ending was brilliant!!! It was such a shock to me but it was so well done. I loved that Rachel Hawkins tied up the plot so perfectly and it really added to my disappointment at another finished series.

Lady Renegades really renewed my faith in this series as the second book wasn't as good. I definitely urge you all to read it and to persevere with it throughout. I am so sad now that it's finished and that it's another set of amazing characters that I'll never read about again.

I hope you decide to start reading this series, tell me in the comments what you think!
