This is a stand alone novel by Michelle Falkoff. It follows a boy named Sam whose best friend Hayden, just killed himself. He left two things behind for Sam to find - a suicide note and a playlist of songs on his iPod. All Sam has to do is piece together the puzzle of Hayden by listening to the songs he has left. But Sam has no idea what it means and after a while he finds that the only way he will be able to find out why Hayden committed suicide is if he opens up to the people around him.
This was a beautiful book which dealt with true friendship,suicide and loss in one. Hayden and Sam were so close to each other and when Hayden died Sam was by himself. But as he came out of his shell he found more great friends and together they pieced together Hayden's story. I rate this book a 4.5/5 stars.
Brilliant book, highly recommended.
